DO NOT PASS THE OMNIBUS BILL
America spoke in November. We want true representation or you're fired!
To our elected federal representatives:
We want you to know that we are tired of being lied to. We are tired of irresponsible spending. We are tired of overreaching federal agencies. We are tired of the finger pointing and divisiveness. We're tired of backroom deals and sneaky addenda. We are tired of the 3 branches of our federal government crossing the boundaries of their jurisdiction.
So, we are expecting that you will start doing the job that you were hired to do beginning with not passing the Omnibus Bill. We don't want the madness to continue another year. We spoke in November and our voices will continue to rise until you can't ignore us any longer. We expect that you will pass a C.R. to fund essential functions through February. We expect that from now on you read EVERY bill presented to you PRIOR to voting on it. We expect that you will start putting your house in order by bringing down the debt and following a budget, just like we do. We expect that you will eliminate unnecessary agencies in order to cut spending and make the monster you've created more manageable. We expect that you will not allow any branch of the government to evolve into something that changes our democracy. We expect you to work together to make us a better UNITED States of America not a DIVIDED States of America. We expect transparency, accountability, honesty and self-control (ethics training is recommended).
We know we're asking a lot but 'to whom much is given, much will be required.' You have been given our TRUST. We will not allow it to be violated any longer. You would be wise to meet our expectations as your job, and more importantly, OUR COUNTRY IS AT STAKE.
