Do Not Force American Citizens to pay for represntatives DC Housing
WE THE PEOPLE already pay huge taxes and huge payrolls for these representatives. WE should NOT be forced to pay for their housing in DC. WE have our own mortgages and rents to pay. It's called living within your means like every other American is expected. This is Banana Republic behavior . WE also demand that any more raises for Congress should be put on the PUBLIC ballot. This is ridiculous they vote for their own pay raises....it should be a merit based system, just like every other job in the USA. WE THE PEOPLE should be in control of these decisions, since WE are the ones you are supposed to represent. Maybe if WE decide the Representative pay scale, they might actual do the job they were voted in for, and actually legislate per OUR wants, not the donors and lobbyists in DC.
