Discrimination of Chronic Pain Patients
Chronic pain patients are being discriminated against because of the false narrative of the opiate epidemic! Illicit fentanyl and heroin are fueling this epidemic. Prescribed medication is down 40%, yet overdoses are up over 1000%. We didn’t ask for painful diseases/traumas…we are asking to be treated with pain medication! All we want is to participate in life, despite our ailments! We are not addiction patients… they want to escape their situation! Physicians are afraid of the DEA overreach and we suffer for it! Please remove Chronic pain from CDC guidelines. Please treat Chronic pain with pain medicine! We are Vets, elderly and disabled people… the American Disability Act is being violated! Suicides will reduce once you treat chronic pain again! Anyone of us is an accident or disease away from chronic pain!
