Democrats in Congress: Concede everything to the Republicans except the environment.
With the recent election it is clear that the balance of power in government tilt heavily Republican. In light of this, Democrats will have to concede their positions on many issues. The Republicans and soon-to-be President Trump will be quick to undo any progress we have made on climate action and environmental preservation.
We ask that the Democrats in congress concede every policy matter except climate to the Republicans in exchange for the continuation and preservation of urgent climate action, global climate agreements, clean energy transition, and the protection of the natural environment for future generations.
