Reforming Child Support for non-constuta custodial parent.
Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen,
Regarding child support reform, please review the child support bill or standards. The non-custodial parent support payments are unbearable and unfair. They're not putting in consideration that the non-custodial parent still has to live and and maintain a household. The payments are too high for the non-custodial parent to even have away of life. I am wondering why some states take the money from your gross pay instead of what's being taxed it doesn't make any sense when you are calculating the overall percentage of child support the non-custodial parent has to pay. There should be a cap on child support for the non-custodial parent for example the non-custodial parent should not have to pay no more than $500 or $700 a month for child support for one child unless they make 15 or $20,000 a month. They're also should be a card showing how much money is being spent on that particular child for that month. If the child support is not utilized on the child and used for other means for example mortgage; car payment; or to buy the custodial parent clothing or anything of that nature. The custodial parent should receive a fine and have to pay the money back to the non-custodial parent. The custodial parent should also trying to make their life better by going to school and getting a job to support the child; no setting at home. Taking all needed promotions to make more money. The standards should be the same for both parents. The non-custodial parent does not get to receive any special benefits like SNAP or any kind of special program for shelter or rent voucher. I have been working with a lawyer for the last week now and he basically said, they do not care about the non-custodial parent which is the male in many cases ,you could be living under the bridge they do not care. They are only worried about getting child support for the custodial parent; which is the female in many cases. We should care about parents and there living Arrangements.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
All I'm saying is just please make child support fair both parents.
Thank you for your time.
