Deadbeat dads, pay support or lose your rights to see your children!!!
Why can DHS remove children from a mother who isn't providing for her child/ren but the deadbeat father's who dont pay still have the right to see their children?
I am a single mother of 2 girls, I work every day to take care of my children and I go without things so they have a roof, water, electric, food, clothing and go to catholic school. My ex-husband owes over 22K in back child support, he plays the system between myself and his other children's mother. He has visitation every other weekend and 1 night during the week. He picks and choses when he wants to pay support and what he wants to pay to help support his children.
If he was not in the picture and I didn't provide for my children from a home, water, electric, heat, food, clothing or I chose when I wanted to provide those things for mychildren I would have DHS come and remove them from my home and put them where they will get the necessities. My ex-husband is still allowed to see the kids and I have to turn my kids over to him or it's considered contempt and I can be put into jail. Courts say one thing doesn't have to do with another but they do NOT only do kids needs love they need necessities and it shouldn't be just the mother's responsibility since the father helped make those babies too.
