Congress and the President have forgotten the fact that they are Servants of "The People".The Sovereignty of this Nation rests with "We The People". Congress DOES NOT have the power to alter, or change the 2nd Amendment in any way. I believe that The Congress has become a body of Used Car Salesmen out to get what they can from their Office. I wish the US House and Senate were only paid for the time they are in session. They did get into their positions for public service for a cause, not a career.
