Congressional Health Care Benefits
Members of Congress should receive the exact same plans and benefits as the citizens. According to MSNBC and other sources, 28% of their benefits are paid by the members with 72% provided by federal subsidies. Since the citizens pay their salaries and the federal subsidies are paid through taxes, the citizens pay 100% of their health care benefits. When congressional members get the same options as the citizens, only then will we see real change.
