This is a barbaric and immoral practice. Animals are not trophies and endangered ones especially need to be protected from such a wasteful and unnecessary death.

Hunting for food, like deer, rabbit, pheasant, etc is, ad far as I'm concerned, OK. Other than that and self-protection the killing of animals is immoral. I'm sure there are other instances when it is a morally acceptable to kill an animal for reasons other than food and protection. The so-called "sport" of "Trophy hunting" is not a sport. It is the acting out an emotionally challenged individual and should be outlawed especially when discussing endangered species. I'm surprised there is even an argument about this. No, I take that back. The cruelty of human beings to each other, other Living creatures, the environment and ourselves is so so sad. Please rescind the legality of this behavior.

Protect all threatened and endangered species. Criminal penalties and jail time for big game hunters.

Those that arrange for mega bucks hunting trips for endangered species should be held legally responsible for the subsequent results. The penalties should be both financial and include incarceration for escorts and owners. The hunters should be suffer severe penalties as well!!

Top predators were put on this planet. To weed out the weak in prey herds. So, only healthy animals reproduced. Whenever predators were wiped out in certain areas. Prey herds ran rapped, sickness, and starved from lack of food sources. Stop killing off animals in circle of life. Ignorant narrow minded people. You break the balance. Fix it before its to late.

God, forgive these people who have so much expendable finances that they have to appease their insatiable desires by paying thousands of dollars to waste Your beautiful creatures. Please have our govt. fine these selfish morons at least the same amount on animal welfare in our country and the country from whom they took these animals.

At a time when national treasures including wildlife should be preserved this is a sick recreation. To kill for the sake of killing. Please do everything possible to make it impossible for Americans to hunt and export from other countries.

Austin, Texas. I am disgusted with trophy hunters. We use to hunt -for food back during world war 2. But never for trophy's to be bragging rights. Evil pure and simple.

Please ban all threatened and endangered animal trophy parts being allowed back into the USA. Let's just allow back photographs of these living animals. This policy allows other people to appreciate these animals alive, too. Rare wild animals are worth more alive, every year living, than dead this year, dead next year, in tourism dollars; economic studies keep proving it.
