Barbaric Treatment of Legimate Chronic Pain Suffering / Failed Opiate War
We the legitimate suffering need your help and support. Pain does not discriminate however our government has. We have been violated and abandoned and left to suffer. You have taken our doctors away, you are making many suffer in silence and disgrace as you discriminate against the suffering and dictate to our doctors. You now make the choice in the betterment of our health. This includes hospice, cancer, failed surgeries beyond repair, veterans and all pain patients whom should in no way be made to suffer in this manner. Patients whom can not be "fixed". Restrictions and regulations impede access to adequate pain management. The governments need to leave decisions concerning types of drugs, the amount and the duration to our trained medical professionals on the basis of the individual needs of the patient and not by regulations. Governments furthermore have an obligation to protect people under their jurisdiction from inhumame and degrading treatment. Failure of governments to take reasonable measures to ensure accessibility of pain treatment which leaves millions of people to suffer needlessly from severe and often prolonged pain raises questions as to whether they have adequately discharged this obligation.
We the undersigned ask that you stop controlling our doctors and our health care issues. This is the United States of America we need to unite, and stand tall for our rights.
We come to you of all ages, races, religions suffering daily chronic pain. We are not doctor shoppers, we are not drug addicts we are the unfortunate who endure endless pain for no reason. We demand that Congress make changes and quickly to give us access to whatever we and our doctors need to treat our chronic debilitating pain. We are not a third world country and this failed drug war must end.
Due to this huge failure in this drug war, you have left many with no recourse but death. Unemployment, SSI and welfare are all on the rise due to this huge ignorance. We will no longer tolerate these great injustices and injuries that the government has imposed upon us. We have a human right to be free from torture, cruel and inhumane and degrading treatment. We are the Legitimate Chronic Pain suffering patients of America and we demand to be heard!
