Child Support Equality
In todayā€™s times women want to be treated equally. However the gender roles are still very much in play in todayā€™s society when discussing the topic of child support. Both parental parties should be responsible for raising their child/children, not just the non custodial parent, in most cases the father. It is time women and men step up and assume responsibility for their child/children and not depend on the non custodial parent, again most of the time the father, to support all of their needs. Families are suffering, children are suffering, and resentment is rising among families. We need more women to step up and provide for their children. Women should not be allowed to sit at home, not have a job, and live off of the government and child support. I propose a solution to this problem either a job training program or to enroll in school. Voluntary unemployment should not be an option. Itā€™s time for a change!
