Child Protection Features on TikTok
I feel that if we are to allow TikTok to remain active for the citizens of the United States, we should have their developers setup child protectection features, such as content-age filters, profile pictures for users who are over the legal state age, and automatic word-content filters (such as words use in hate speech, sexuality, and other content that should be reviewed by their parents), and are in place for those under the legal age. Just implementing the use of a user-age filter, will stop the ability for pedophiles to engage with younger users, and reduce the contact and potential of child abductions and child sex trafficking. Please consider these ideas as my intent is to protect the children on the TikTok social media platform.
