Child Custody Reform

Let us the people put a stop to Parental Alienation and Hostile Aggressive Parenting

I ask that we make a change in the way that custody is decided in our nation. There is a problem that the laws that govern child custody and divorce re still in the 19th century while we are in the 21st century. In most cases after divorce, fathers are treated as a paycheck for support for the kids, and given little if any time with their children. Children need both parents in their life, with equal time sharing and equal financial contribution. One parent should not be allowed by the courts to move away and take their children with them. The standard need to be that both parents are given equal time with the child, both throughout the week and the weekend. Child support should not be assessed to either parent. In today's lifestyles both parents typically work to make the household work. Therefore both parents should be responsible for the child during the time that the child is with them, and share all cost related to medical expenses and extra curricular activities. I pray that we can come to the 21st century with our child custody laws.
