Child Custody law should allow 50/50 custody for divorced parents if both parents are willing and able to care for child!!!
HELP ME PUT AN END TO 60/40 CUSTODY WHEN BOTH PARENTS ARE 50% ABLE TO CARE FOR THERE CHILDREN!!!!
I ask that congress take a look at family court custody cases and to research the unfairity that these judges have empowered by taking away precious time from children who need both parents EQUAL time. It's just not fair for a judge to give 60/40 custody to one parent so that the other parents child support doesn't change!!! You are taking away precious time from our children who deserve to have equal time with both parents!!! The BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD LAW NEEDS TO BE THROWN OUT AND REWRITTEN!! If neither party can be proved as un-fit then both parties if willing and able should be given equal time with both parents!
