Change Domestic Violence Laws
The current laws are too broad and far reaching.
The current Domestic Violence laws must be changed! These laws are way too broad and over reaching. They seem designed to destroy families, not heal, help, protect or restore them. Every single case should be heard on an individual basis! Not every case is the same. With the current laws we are throwing a blanket over many people who are not dangerous, who are being falsely accused and their lives are being ruined! Currently, there isn't any room in these laws for the innocent to fight the false accusations.These laws are not fair and they have many aspects to them that are unconstitutional. The fact that this kind of injustice is taking place in our judicial system everyday is unacceptable! That is NOT what government is put into power by the citizens of this country to do. There are too many ways for the current laws to be abused by "victims" to get even. The Domestic Violence industry is a huge money making industry, and judges, prosecutors, attorney's and the government are all making money on the destruction of families and people's individual lives! Police lie, alleged victims lie, the entire judicial system is corrupt on many levels. It is time to reconstruct the system and rewrite these laws to STOP false accusations of Domestic Violence. Along with those changes, we need to change the legal definitions of the words "abuse" and "assault". In many states the definitions of those two words, are so broad and far reaching, that if a person yells the words "shut up" to ANY person residing in their household, that would be considered Domestic Violence, assault or abuse under the current laws. That is absurd! It seems as though not a single elected official spent any time reading, or thinking about these laws before they signed them. They never thought fully and completely about how these laws could possibly be abused, how they could effect innocent people, how these laws should not be used as a blanket solution to every single case that comes along. Judges DO NOT do their job in being fair and just like they are supposed to. They are too concerned about making the media happy, making lobbyists happy, getting re-elected, making a name for themselves, making deals behind the scenes to make others happy so that they themselves will benefit in some way. That is wrong! it is time for this kind of "buddy system" to be exposed and end! We the people elect government officials to pass fair laws, constitutional laws, and carry out fair and just rulings by hearing every single aspect of each individual case and do it from a non prejudiced point of view. We the people have the right to remove you from office. Please remember for whom you work!
