Taza is the son of the War Chief Cochise. He is buried in the Congressional Cemetery

TAZA went to Washington with a delegation of Apache Indians for the affairs and treatment of The Apache Nation. It was told that he died of pneumonia and is rumored that he died from poisoning. Either way; it is an affront to The Apache Nation and all Native Americans for him to be buried among those who chose to slaughter his people in the name of greed and power. As the son of Cochise he should be buried with his people and rest in peace in the land he loved where his forefathers are resting. I address this issue in my new book; "APACHE WINDS". It would go a long way for this government to extend the hand of understanding for what was done to the indigenous people of this country.
