It is time that U.S. government officials stop dragging their feet, making excuses and delaying the homecomings of these children in need. -

We received the referral of our Vietnamese son in July 2008. We were able to bring him home in May 2009. These children have families that did everything that was asked of them, by both governments. These children deserve to be with their families. A 3 year wait is sickening. The US government promised that if your referral met the deadline, the adoption would be completed. Now it is time to keep their promise!REPORT COMMENTS

As a parent to an adopted son that had to wait over 2 years to come home because of gov't issues I beg you to allow these children to come home as soon as possible to loving families. There is nothing more important to a child than love and security of a family and I can assure you that nothing positive is coming from delaying that dream and need in each of their lives.REPORT COMMENTS

These children have loving families waiting for them in our country. Why do you let them waste away in the orphanages overseas when it is obvious they will not leave them until they are grown, or die.REPORT COMMENTS

The US Federal Government should get out of the way and approve the entrance of these children. Why does the US Federal Government continue to make families agonize through this process without any probable cause? Let the children come home to the US now!REPORT COMMENTS

I was smitten with beautiful Nate the first time his parents shared a photo with me after being paired with him over the summer of 2008. I have watched his loving, committed parents mourn the passing of each holiday and birthday that he remains in Vietnam. Please do the right thing to immediately unite Nate and the other 15 children with their families. These children deserve the nurturing, stable, safe homes that their parents have made ready for them three years ago.REPORT COMMENTS
