Ban All Puppy Mills/Large Scale Dog Breeders in the United States
Over 4 million dogs are killed every year due to lack of home, 40% of which come from puppy mills or large scale breeders.
Choosing to shut down all Puppy Mills/Large Scale Dog Breeders that reside in the United States will help prevent many issues. The biggest issue that this will help solve is the dog overpopulation problem which causes many shelters/rescues to be overwhelmed and have to shut down. Many shelters hire full-time workers on their behalf, when they are required to shut down due to lack of funding, this just worsens the job loss issue. Choosing to ban the continuation, opening, or re-opening of all puppy mills or large scale dog breeders in the United States will help create more jobs, less debt, and less of an over-population issue.
