ATLANTA PUBLIC SCHOOL TRANSPORATION IN GEORGIA NEEDS AIR CONDTIONING BUSES ASAP
Atlanta Public schools should provide air conditioning buses for DSE students ,regular students and also bus driver. The week of August 12. 2020 we have 4 driver out with heat strokes. I am one of the who had a heat stroke/ asthma attack on Friday August 13.2021 which to hospitalization. The buses are metal the draws excess rising temperature. to where there no circulation and students are sweating and fatigue. We have been told for the last two years that we would have air condition bus from the director of transportation Mr. John Franklin. The new Superintendent Mrs. Lisa Herring she was unaware that we didn't have all air condition bus. Can you please consideration this petition urgent because we have students and driver with underline conditions that can lead to death.
