Approve Family Extended Stays / Conjugal Visits For All Alabama Inmates
We ask that you approve Family Extended Visits / Conjugal Visits for all Alabama Inmates. This would decrease the violence inside of our state prisons by atleast 90 % . Our inmates deserve some form of a normal life inside the prison depending on their behavior. Our State and Department of Corrections have failed to come up with a plan that would decrease the violence against our inmates and the co's. By approving Family time with the inmates Children, Wife , Girlfriend , Boyfriend , and approving Conjugal Visits this would relieve stress, anger , frustration , and the violence. It would decrease the amount of Inmate rapes as well. This would also decrease the amount of broken families in our state. This would give our inmates something to look forward to and a goal to work towards . The State and the Department of Corrections have tried everything except for giving the inmates the one thing that would motivate them to want to stay out of trouble and return home and it would decrease the chances of the inmates returning to the system. Family is everything to an inmate being able to spend extended time with their loved ones would be a great way to fix the problems of Violence and rape inside of the prisons. It is time that we the people the tax payers of the State of Alabama , have our say and have our voices heard. We ask that you please approve Family Extended Stays / Conjugal Visits. Please allow our families to be able to have atleast an over night or weekend extended stay and conjugal visits.
