No member of congress is allowed to profit from advanced information, legislation or pending legislation
No member of Congress is allowed to profit from advanced stock information or from pending or active legislation. Penalty for such action will be forfeiture of all profits and a fine of twice the amount of the ill gotten gains. A congressman or woman who is found to have committed a second offense of this requirement shall be subjected to all of the first time requirements and will also suffer a one month loss of pay and will be stripped of all committee assignments. All fines and forfeitures will be paid to the U.S.A Treasury Department and will be used as general revenue. A third infraction will be an automatic ethics violation and a forced resignation of the member.
