Allow for Federal Workers to Receive Pay while on Government Shutdown
Federal workers especially emergency workers work hard all year round with no holidays off, no job security,lack of respect from the public, indecent salary increases, poor working conditions, and the lust goes in. The least they can do is give us our paychecks. Why do we have to suffer? Why do we have to go unpaid and work for free for months and months or God knows when. Why do we have to give up our paid leaves and vacations? Where does that leave us? We’re doing our due dilligence, serving the country in our own way. We also put our lives on the lines to keep the public safe. It’s not fair and it’s not right. The government needs to find a way to either compromise or find another way to do things where it doesn’t affect civilians.
