Unfair Child Support Laws
Let it be known,
Child support laws which started in 1910 have not been modified much since then. It is time for a change. Men are not the only "bread winners" in America. Women are more than capable of financially supporting children. If women want to be viewed as equals, they need to be treated and held responsible as such.
Here's what I would like to see change:
1. Child support calculations will be based off of GROSS income instead of Net income.
(We do not receive our Gross income, so why would that be used as the starting point for financial calculations. We receive the net, what is left over after uncle Sam and other deductions are taken out.)
2. Custodial parents should have to provide just as much financially as the non-custodial parent is required to.
3. Custodial parents should be ordered to take random drug tests if the non-custodial parent is suspicious.
