MORE FUNDS TO RESEARCH A CURE FOR THE RARE, LIFE-THREATENING, ILLNESS, SCLERODERMA
Congress, please support this Petition by directing the National Institutes of Health to expand research for Scleroderma, and development and evaluation of new treatments. Please direct the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to establish a "Scleroderma Public Awareness Campaign" highlighting disease symptoms, occurrence of related conditions, and the importance of early diagnosis.
Despite the number of people affected by Scleroderma and the devastating effect the disease can have, Scleroderma Research remains critically underfunded by the National Institutes of Health.
Scleroderma is a rare, life-threatening illness, and until new therapies are made possible by advances in medical research, victims of Scleroderma will continue to live in intense pain, on a daily basis; both physically and emotionally.
This Petition is very important to the people who have Scleroderma, and to the family members who are living with a loved ones, who have Scleroderma. Thank you for your consideration of this Petition.
