End Daylight Saving Time

While most people find it anywhere from unimportant to annoying, Daylight Saving Time is actually associated with an increase in the rate of car accidents and heart attacks. While many people believe there are practical reasons to change the clocks, these are almost all misconceptions and misunderstandings. In a social climate where Americans feel that our representative government can not get anything done, let us come together on an issue that the overwhelming majority of Americans agree on.

An excellent resource on the negative impacts of Daylight Savings Time with links to many scholarly articles can be found at this link https://journalistsresource.org/studies/environment/energy/daylight-savings-time-health-accidents-energy/.

We, the undersigned, believe that the country should choose either Daylight Saving Time or Standard Time and keep it year round.
