Unfair Child Support Laws
The current divorce laws are outdated and unfairly biased. Given the changes within our society, it is time for a change.
1. Both parents should be granted 50/50 custody unless there is a compelling reason for the 1 parent to not get so much time. Each parent has an important role to play in a childs life. A failed relationship shouldn't punish the children and the father in perpetuity.
2. The idea of who has financial responsibility needs to change. It is up to the men to carry the burden. If they do not, they are subject to harsh penalties. Why should the mother also not be as responsible? Why is no accounting done on how the money is spent?
