Abolish Standards and Practices (S&P) on TV

It's time to abolish Standards and Practices on TV worldwide. S&P groups should not decide what is or isn't "inappropriate" for children and what is or isn't "lawful" or "lawsuit-worthy," parents should. S&P have become too strict on television, just like executives and focus groups meddling with Hollywood films (both of which we should also abolish).
For instance, Disney Channel in the UK edited out a lesbian kiss in an episode of Star vs. The Forces of Evil, but it was aired uncut in the US.
It is hypocritical and backwards that nudity and sex are not shown, yet violence and gore are. Personally, I feel it should be the other way around: nudity and sex are natural, normal things you see everyday, whereas violence and gore are not (unless they make sense to be part of the plot).
