Abolishing the DMCA will open more businesses & produce more jobs.
With the wake of the Anti-Counterfeit Trade Agreement, our constitutional rights are slowly being taken away from us. But one of the things that hurt our economy is the lack of businesses in the free market. Large businesses monopolize their content with rules and restrictions to prevent competition. Sooner or later, There will be little to no ideas left.
So why abolish the DMCA?
It will produce more jobs because of the increased number of businesses and competition. Products produced by companies will improve more quickly because the vast majority of citizens will be working on them.
A lot of corporations say it will hurt their financial gain because everyone is using stuff that they created. The truth is, their products will become more popular if everyone is using them.
