A proposal to protect Human Dignity and a Free Good Conscience
To Prohibit the Government in forcing people to act against their Consciences and maintain Human Dignity
In light of recent events, I call upon the people to petition congress for an amendment to the constitution stating this:
"That religion, or the duty which we owe to our Creator, and the manner of discharging it, can be directed only by reason and conviction, not by force or violence; and therefore all men are equally entitled to the free exercise of religion, according to the dictates of conscience; and that it is the mutual duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity toward each other.
Therefore, the Executive department is hereby prohibited from enforcing any action that is contrary to acts of good conscience or the practice of the mutual duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity toward each other;
The Legislative Branch(Congress) is here by prohibited from enacting any law or action that is contrary to acts of good conscience or the practice of the mutual duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity toward each other;
The Judicial Branch is hereby prohibited from siding against the acts of the people in good conscience;
thus protecting human dignity and fulfilling the duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity toward each other"
Based upon the recent events of the previous couple of days and after researching the Bill of Rights and Section 16 of the Virginia Declaration of Rights June 1776, I found that there is no law or amendment of the constitution protecting the Inalienable Right of Free Conscience decisions that in turn protect Human Dignity.
If you are reading this please support this cause. Free Conscience decisions and Human Dignity define who we are and allow the individual to think for himself on all issues. This was known to the founding fathers whom believed it to be understood. However, they never could have foreseen the lack of Conscience in many of their fellow countrymen. Good Conscience, like Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness should be protected at all costs.
