1 Subject at a Time Bill
Representative Mia Love is introducing a measure that would limit bills to just one subject at a time ? preventing lawmakers from adding amendments or debates.
Rep Mia Love (R), from Utah, is trying to get a Bill passed where our representatives can only bring ?1 Subject at a Time? before the floor and the subject must be clearly stated in the title. Why is this important? Because when you have a multi bill that is thousands of pages, the people in the United States, and not only the people, but the Representative are unable to read it. Also, by passing this Bill, people can get more involved, more engaged, with the government. And this is something ?We The People? want to do. We want to get more involved and engaged with our government.
