People read the 2006 act that forces the USPS to pay upfront 75 years of pensions. That is why USPS is going through issues, not the cost of gas or paying taxes. Stop being an American for a second and read something and become informed. Thank you.

If the government could allow the post office not to pay the federal and state tax on fuel. This would help the post office.

I hate to see anymore loose of jobs in the state of this econmy an to shortin the hours or the work force in the postal serice would be a major hit to the econmy. And yet again i dont truly beleive that these rural counties dont understand the impact it will have on them in the over all long runn.In this econmythe last thing i would propose is yet another tax or bill. But i think the way to generate extra income to keep the postal service going is to charge for rural everday delivery if you have a post office box you pay somewhere in the range of 24.00 a year.As where if you have a rural delivery you pay nothing to have it droped off at your front door by a postal worker.I for one would rather pay 24.00 a year an not have to leave the comfort of my home.Because you can not do wthout it espically if you could get the Ellectric water an phone companies to agree that they would stop the online pay an statements that way you would have to have the mail man to know how much you owed

Restore TE/CCA pay to $22/HR from $15/HR! We did not deserve a 25% pay cut!
