I believe Dodd-Frank should, if anything, be strengthened, rather than weakened. Moreover, changes should only occur in a carefully financial legislation, not stuck in a midnight spending bill.REPORT COMMENTS

I also oppose the cuts to pensions and funding for the IRS in this budget. In addition, we already have too much money in our political campaigns so I oppose the provision raising campaign contributions as well. If the Republicans want to shut down the government over this terrible bill then let them. Our economy and democracy are at risk with this terrible budget. Vote no until these provisions are removed. Thank you. Signed, A voter.REPORT COMMENTS

You would think - you WOULD think - that rational people WOULD have learned. This just further inflames the distrust that Americans have with Congress. I'm hoping YOU can help change that.REPORT COMMENTS

It's the same game plan. Pass a law to protect taxpayers, then in months go back and sneak it in a bill to counteract the protection. There is always money to protect the bankers but none when it comes to entitlement programs whic were passed decades ago and collected taxes for decades to support them.REPORT COMMENTS

This is exactly what we'd all voted to curtail in 2008. What a joke the current administration is! Basically the rush to kleptocracy is bipartisan & we all know it. If Reagan destroyed the working class. Bush/Obama took out the middle class.REPORT COMMENTS

Why are congressmen and women even thinking about this idea? It is such an obvious gift to big-bank lobbyists, and contains no benefit at all to the average voter. If this bill passes, the people's opinion of congress will go even lower, if that is possible. Dodd- Frank was weak enough, let's not weaken it further.REPORT COMMENTS
