My Endometriosis was treated with Lupron, since then I was diagnosed with endometrial carcinoma. The symtoms I had during treatments I still have after two years have past since the last dose.I have fibromyalgia, joint pain to the paoint of the inability to move, degenerative disc disease, hot flashes so bad its as if your on the surface of the sun and constantly changing out of wet clothes or wet sheets, migraines lasting up to 12 days, back and neck pain with spasms the will lock one side of the body to the point you can stand, to name a few. This drug is used for so many different things yet theres no studies showing this is a treatment or cure for my disease, In fact it has caused my disease to come back after remission with a vengence! With no explaination.I refuse to allow anymore of this drug to be put into my body for any purpose, there is not a cure for Endometriosis, yet Dr's are telling patients that Lupron will cure them.It puts a woman into full blown menopause so there arent hormones being produced, therefore masking symptoms (for a handful of women) I believe it is a money making venture for the drug manufactuer, that has no studies or clinical trials to prove these claims.I also believe it causes long term damage to those who take this drug, physically and mentally.Since Lupron I have been placed on physc meds for depression and severe anxiety, I tremble uncontrolably, I sometimes have to walk with a cane because I lose my balance and get waves of dizziness.REPORT COMMENTS

10 years after one injection this drug continues to have an effect on my life. Had I known more about the potential hazards of Lupron I never would have had the injection. At the very least people should have the opportunity to make informed decisions based on the knowledge of the potential long term affects they might face in their own life.REPORT COMMENTS

My 20 year old daughter was prescribed Lupron for endometriosis. She was told by her doctor "NOT" to look it up on the internet because it would scare her. I only recently found out that it was used to treat prostate cancer and that it is a chemo drug. She has had numerous side effects and has suffered tremendously since receiving this drug. After doing the research, I am extremely angry that this is considered a "treatment" for endometriosis. All I can do is sit and watch as my daughter suffers. What really makes me sad is the fact the we are taught to "trust" the doctors, that they are there to help us, and in my opinion, this couldn't be any further from the truth. I would encourage anyone to research this drug before using it, then decide AGAINST it. It's dangerous!REPORT COMMENTS
