Lupron, Leuprolide needs to be taken completely off the market immediately with out delay until "Protection Law" is implemented!

I am so very thankful I came across this site!! I too suffer from endometriosis. I have tried BC pills and a failed Mirena insertion. My PCP recommended a hysterectomy. Today I visited my OB/Gyn doc and she said the Lupron would be the best alternative to a hysterectomy with the least side effects. She said I would probably just suffer from early menopause symptoms and the success rate for this drug is around 85%. After reading a lot of your stories all I can say is what a bunch of BS!! My heart goes out to each and every one of you. Thank you for standing up against big PHARMA and putting your stories out there. I will be calling her office tomorrow and cancelling this poison! I took this drug in or around 1993. I was very sick for about a year. Inflamed liver, extreme fatigue, depression and more. Was not made aware of potential side effects at the time of treatment. I finally saw an internist who advised my symptoms seem to be related to the Lupron injections.REPORT COMMENTS

I began lupron injections as a last resort kind of thing for my endometriosis. Like many others, my doctor told me that I would have menopausal-like symptoms- mainly hot flashes and some mood swings. This was a drastic understatement. I received 6 months of this treatment before realizing that it was controlling my life. I stopped treatment 4 months ago and am still experiencing symptoms such as bone loss, back pain, hot flashes, panic attacks, mood swings for absolutely no reason, depression, and memory loss, just to name a few. Please take this drug off the market. I cannot emphasize this enough.REPORT COMMENTS

I took Lupron for endometriosis and have suffered severe damage thatt will never go away. Lupron should have better warnings and shouldnt be used for treatment of endometriosis because of the risk factors and the fact it only works at most 20% of the time. Please let me know if a lawsuit is established for this drug as I feel it has caused damage both physically and psychologically to myself and my family and I think its time they take responsibility for it all!REPORT COMMENTS
