Knowing what is on a food label is extremely important and what certain words might have the meaning of. When people are purchasing soda and giving it to their children they don't know that phosphoric acid that is associated with soda products can counter react the calcium they are also giving their kids to make there bones stronger. Phosphoric acid makes your bones brittle but not everyone knows that. "Danger" foods and beverages should have risks with the ingredients that are labeled on the product.REPORT COMMENTS

The long term effects of added sugar on health could severely impair and damage a person's quality of life. Not only that, but the chronic diseases that are correlated and or caused by obesity are much more prevalent then they should be. In fact, diabetes is the second leading cause of death in the US and coronary heart disease is the seventh. This act is essential to public health.REPORT COMMENTS

This will help people make a more informed decisions before buying products that have these kind of added sugars which are harmful to the human body. Both the current and the future generation will be benefited by this since this will help to make them nutrition conscious. A healthy lifestyle is the best form of medicine one can hope for, and this is a step towards making a healthier choice.REPORT COMMENTS
