You want to cut SNAP funding when it feeds children, the disabled, and seniors. Have you no heart? Home bound seniors depend on Meals on Wheels to get basic nutrition and cooked meals. Have you no conscious? You are supposed to be Public Servants not career politicians. I taught for 30 years and I can tell you that during 10 of those years I got NO raises while inflation was rampant because the school districts had no money. When was the last time anyone in Congress went without a pay raise?

These people don't represent the people that elected them to do so. They represent Wall St., Corporations and the wealthy, who line their pockets with more perks. Not to mention the inside information they are privy to, so they can move their investments around, garnering the most profit for themselves.

I don't know how you sleep at night. I don't know how you can look at yourself in the mirror in the morning. Shame on you.

Like Mary A says---raise taxes on the rich or lose your perks!

Remember when teachers, public employees, Planned Parenthood, NPR and PBS crashed the stock market, wiped out half of our 401Ks, took trillions in TARP money, spilled oil in the Gulf of Mexico, gave themselves billions in bonuses, and paid ...no taxes? Yeah, me neither. Obama is looking in the right direction, (Pun intended) Equality capitalism over Greedy capitalism. " It was the best of time and the worst of times." Check out "A Tale of Two Cities" (1859) a novel by Charles Dickens, with well over 200 million copies sold. The novel depicts the plight of the French peasantry demoralized by the French aristocracy in the years leading up to the revolution, the corresponding brutality demonstrated by the revolutionaries toward the former aristocrats in the early years of the revolution, and many unflattering social parallels with life in London during the same time period. When will we learn from history! Equality, instead of the Medieval Capitalism we practice today.
