High Kill Shelters and Animal Control Needs To Be Shut Down

These agencys are Horrible!
(High kill shelters, Animal Control, and some Animal Breeders)
Animals are not given the proper chance to be adopted.
These agencys are killing animals two to three days of arrival,and some of these agencys are also abusing these animals in the short time they have to live.
Also,some of these agencys, are killing animals in a very inhumane way.
They use gas chambers that are not sealed, so it takes for ever for the animal to die.
Some are shot, and now there is a new way called crushing.
All of this is very unacceptable!
Also,all unwanted animals should be free of charge,to drop off at other agencys.
I can not think that our country, as great as it is, can allow this to happen!
Please support this, and close these agencys once and for all!

Stop HIGH Kill shelters! I live in a community who also has a HIGH KILL shelter. Most of them aren't even given a chance. They give strays they know nothing about more time to live (3 days appx), then they do "Owner surrenders" who they know exactly how they act, and everything about them I am working in my community to pull together to shut our shelter down! I think if the congress comes in and steps up for us as people, who are the voices for the furbabies that have no voice then we can get something done!!

This needs to be a priority! There are so many of these facilities scattered across this country. It's not the animals fault. It's the irresponsible humans! Need to strengthen the laws & fines for ppl that dumb animals. (my neighbor & I are constantly taking animals to spay/neuter clinics. And the animals keep being dropped, and those ppl drive away, dumbing their responsibility on to us. Don't know how long we can substain this out of pocket expense, yet the only SHELTERS ARE HIGH KILL!
