If you look at the steady downhill slope of the American economy and the American living standard, from the end of World War II until today, you can see that it wasn't the normal expected curve that ebbs and flows. Our deviation from following the proper Constitutional procedures day to day in the US Federal government was accelerated upon the signing of the United Nations Participation Act of 1945.
