As a citizen of the United States, I speak to those in Congress and the White House. We the people demand the truth, nothing more. I know you love to spin a web of lies for political gain, but to turn a blind eye to the terrorist attack in Benghazi on September 11, 2012; to allow the IRS to financially persecute conservative parties; and to seize the private calls of twenty Associated Press reporters for no just cause, which violates the First Amendment, go beyond your depravity. The truth is a simple thing, but to you, it is something that is destructive. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security." This is a quote, as many people know, is from the document that founded this once great nation, the Declaration of Independence. We threw off the yoke of the British crown and declared ourselves free states. Then, in 1789, after the failure of the Articles of Confederation, the Constitution was ratified, becoming the highest law of the land. Sadly, both documents have been mostly ignored by both houses of Congress and the Executive Branch.
