It ****es me off that Congress, given the power to make laws, decides to pass a law that clearly violate the Constitution. Where in the Constitution does it say Congress has the right to be accuser, judge & jury?REPORT COMMENTS

Why would Planned Parenthood tweet support of NDAA? Because of the fact that a couple years ago, the FBI designated pro-lifers to be terrorists, even though all over 99% of us do is stand outside praying. That's it. Praying is NOT a terrorist act, but the US government considers it to be such. According to a Gallup poll earlier this year, about 50% of the US considers themselves pro-life. Other things that the government considers terrorism: downloading, occupiers, protesters, trespassers, disagreement with the government. The citizens of the US are NOT terrorists! We do NOT deserve punishment for the crimes of less than one percent! Two hundred years ago our forefathers wrote our Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, in which is contained the Fifth and Sixth Amendments. In that Fifth Amendment it is stated, "No person...shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law." The Sixth Amendment states, "In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense." The NDAA ignores the Fifth and Sixth Amendments of the United States Constitution, and strips it bare. We ask that our Constitutional rights be protected and respected! Please veto the National Defense Authorization Act. As a descendant of those who founded our great country, please know that I hold my ancestors' intentions dear to my heart. Today, they too would be thought of as terrorists for the rebellious nature in which the American Revolution was carried out. Even though I'm a pacifist, I still believe in the Constitution, and the freedom of all people. Please repeal the NDAA, which is a crime against the citizens of the United States, past, present, and future.REPORT COMMENTS
