VR&E is a program for Vets who are service-connected for their injuries received during their enlistment. A lot of us can no longer do our prior military civilian jobs and need retraining for jobs that suit or disabilities. That program is soon to be on the chopping block too. We took oaths to defend our Constitution against all enemies both foreign and domestic. Shouldn't Congress do the same?Absolutely shameful that any Vet is homeless while the federal government guarantees a lifetime supply of unemployment checks for others who may not even deserve it.REPORT COMMENTS

Every time I turn around we lose another 'guaranteed benefit' that was 'promised' before. How long before you want prospective service members to have to PAY before they can enlist to serve and possibly die for what? Global Marxism?
