Immigrants are not objects, they are people.

I have been in the US since 2001, first as a student and then on H1-B. I was hoping to finally get my EAD and be able to change my job. This sudden change in the visa bulletin at the last minute after we spent time and money on preparing I-485 application has affected us both financially and emotionally. I urge you to please revert the Oct 2015 Visa bulletin and honor the dates specified in the original bulletin.

My Priority Date is 3/2/2012. Considering the initial acceptance dates, I hoped to get EAD pretty soon and I turned down a major career opportunity and forced to stay with my current employer only to get EAD. It is big disappointment that the dates have retrogressed and it has been painful to accept the uncertainty in green card movement. Please bring back the original dates and make sure it is not retrogressed in the future. Job change flexibility is very important for our careers, and financial stability which is possible only with EADs.

I am here in the US since 2004 , first as a student and now on H1b. This is my 9th year on H1b, I was looking forward to getting my EAD and AP (which is still not equivalent to a green card) after being on H1b for 9 years. Thought this would bring in some stability in my life like so many others in my situation, but the rug was swept from under our feet. I urge you to revert to the original dates.

Please revert the dates back to initial announcement. we have been waiting for this for a long time. Having 15 years of experience and almost 8 years of stay in US... still dancing as per our H1B sponsor tunes. Not much freedom to explore career options. Please revert.

I really appreciate the way uscis and dos implemented the acceptance dates. But it has to be reasonable to move the dates as I am in eb3 with the priority date of 2007. Uscis and dos has to realize that most applicants in eb3 have ported to eb2 and that's causing the eb3 delays. i personally feel the revised dates by uscis are more reasonable and eb3 dates should move as the wait times are more than 10 years. Being in USA legally with no gc/ead for more than a decade will add more stress mentally, physically and financially. Also a loss in the professional development as have to be with a consultancy with no choice for promotions or other investments.
