This is country is a democracy which is for our people. If the majority sees that a congressmember isn't doing his job right or is violating on human rights, then as this country says it's for the people, we should have charge as to who is in congress. That means the people have the right to say who gets fired. This is a free country and the congress should be about it's people and not it's social status. It should have an open-minded side as well as a side that knows it's history pretty good and has experienced what works and doesn't work for the country. Also we we should have a side filled with war veterans who have experienced war to make the military decisions because they have experience behind them. Since congress cannot be impeached for their failures to act in the interest of americans in general , maybe they should be sued by the american public. They have gotten paid for 6 years at our expense while the american people suffer in part time jobs, no jobs, no unemployment and food stamps to survive. On top of that they are grudge minded about people feeding their families, so they cut food stamps. Then don't want to raise minimum wages. What good are they. Millions of dollars are wasted on nonsense to buy our votes. I say to america, let's show them that we cannot be bought. We are not stupid. We have a mind and we need to use it and stop letting them think we are so gullable. Yes, those of us who don't watch t v may be. America, take off the rose colored glasses. See congress for who they are, Wealthy people who want to stay wealthy on our dime. It is time to stop padding their pockets and fire them. The problem I feel when I read some of these posts, like I will vote for a third party or I am not exited about any of the candidates so I will not vote, just makes the democrats smile and hope you do just that. I can say this for the democrats, they stick together, so voting for a third party gives one more vote for the democrat. Same thing if you sit out the election, just gives the democrat another vote, because it's minus yours. Get our message to your representative and let them know you are paying attention and will hurt them when you can, but never sit out an election or vote for a third party that at this time has no chance of winning, just to prove your point.
