JOIN FREE: Federal Class Action for U.S. Child Custody Victims - Friends, I just joined CAPRA as one of the lead plaintiffs in an upcoming landmark federal class action lawsuit against all 50 States and the Federal Government, because I qualify as: (1) a biological parent whose child custody was unconstitutionally removed without due process; and, (2) I have been directly impacted by that during the last four years, i.e., within the statute of limitations. This class action is on behalf of *both* types of "family court" -- for wrongful victims of divorce-and-similar-with-kids *and* for wrongful victims of child protection services -- and includes suing on behalf of ANY parent affected by either "family court" type. It's totally free to join, and the federal court relief being demanded includes the full restoral of my child custody rights under law, plus a nice share of the large amount in civil damages expected. Check it out! It just requires entering someone's referral Code to join, so PLEASE use mine - 42085JL619 - in the CAPRA registration form, located on the bottom of the homepage at http://parentalrightsclassaction.com Plus, check out their power-packed Legal Tips page for all parents fighting family court, too -- Wow!! Thanks!!

Overtime should not be calculated in your income. Overtime is never guaranteed. It's just not fair!!

My husband pays $600/month for one child in CS alone. That is not including dance classes, medical and daycare that he also pays a percentage of. His income is $1400/month. We struggle everyday to make ends meet while my step daughters mother is building a brand new house and drives a brand new cadillac. I can't believe how unjust CS is. Both parents should be forced to work and CS should be calculated off of BOTH parties incomes! There should never be a set amount and that is it. The courts tend to forget about our expenses. We have my step daughter half the time and have to put a roof over her head and feed her just as much. We should be getting the child support!

I am outrage that this government has allowed these so called blood sucker child enforcement agency. How are they legal able to alter a child support payment with out going to court and have the judge sign it. They always have a legal excuse to what ever they want to do. This needs to stop not only for me but for other struggling father's. I wish someone can do something about these people.

I've spent the last 5 years homeless due to having a minimum wage job and having to pay child support to an ex that I was never even aware was pregnant from me until the child was 3 years old and she needed money. I found out I was a dead by getting an order to pay past chile support. I owe then so much, and they take half of my bi weekly 600$ check. I obviously have been sleeping in my car the last few years but just lost my car and sleep in a park behind where I work. The winters are very cold in Colorado, I almost didn't survive this last snow storm with my car, and now I am unsure what to do without the car, it was my only shelter. I'm 25, have my family or friends. I wish I could make more money so I can eat and be ok and also be able to give her more than enough. I'd work harder or do whatever I have to do. Rock and a hard place. Sometimes I really want to die, but I'm sure I don't want to starve or die from the cold it seems like it would hurt real bad-like. I feel bad that I can't help her enough, I really wish that I could. She doesn't want me to meet my son since I didn't even know about him until he was 3 and because I'm a bad person she says but it's ok because I don't have a home or anywhere stable anyway, I'm so far from ready to have a kids of my own.

My ex-husband cheated on me with 6 different women. He just obtained his third degree of which I put him through school for two and a half of those. He makes over $100,000 a year. I make $10 an hour. And because the judge hated women even though she was a woman herself I now only get to see my children every other weekend and I have to pay my ex-husband $500 a month in child support. I also pay $300 a month for my oldest son who was taken from me illegally. I kill myself on a daily basis trying to work and I'm getting ready to lose my apartment and my car and at that point the judge will take my kids. I am not an alcoholic, I am not a drug addict, I did not beat my children nor have I ever beaten my children. 5 months after our divorce he married a 23 year old child (he is 38) and now she's Knocked Up. He kept the house and everything in it and left me with nothing. I was a stay-at-home mom for almost 12 years putting him through school doing his school work for him taking care of him and the kids and the house. It's not fair that I have to pay him child support we agreed when we got divorced that we would have 50/50 custody and as soon as he got with his new little b**** he took me to court for custody of our kids and I got told by the judge to stop playing the victim. Because of how much they're taking out of my check and child support I'm left with $700 a month to live on my rent is 70% of that and then a car payment. I can't even pay my electric internet or phone bill all of which I have to have in order to keep my job because I work from home and now I'm being dragged back into court because I can't pay the parent coordinator that the judge ordered $1,000 these laws are unfair they are unjust and there are too many people taking advantage. Child support should be used so that the children enjoy the same quality of life or as close to the same quality of life as possible with both parents I can't even afford to do laundry

We were paying $1,721 monthly however the ex got a job and we were relieved to get CS reduced to $1,018 however this is still a lot for 2 children. She recently remodeled her entire house and has credit-card debt bills lying around the house, some $15K and some up to $20K. The money should be spent on the kids dental, mortgage support, food, school activities, a new/used car for the teenager, clothing, school supplies, etc etc - anything that can be related to the child's standard of living. I say no more than 15% of take-home pay should be the standard for child support. For our income, that would be $668. That's more than enough to support them and lead happy lives - with mother AND father.

I truly struggle paying child support. I make 3,000 a month. My ex has a boyfriend who works. She works, and is receiving 800. 00 dollars from me as well. That's 3 incomes for one household. I scrape by with a little over 2000.00 to live off of. After my mortgage, car note. Food n bills. I barely have enough to get ahead or live a decent life. I'm always in my kids life, but this calculation for how much I pay is rediculous

It's an EXTREMELY unfair and abused system. My dad was hauled off to jail today because he owes my mom 2 Grand in support. I know when they were married she threatened to divorce if he would not buy this 500K house, and know he is stuck paying 5K a month for this mansion, though he lives alone! And I know for a fact that my mother doesn't support my sister and I with it, her boyfriend pays for it all while she goes and buys alcohol and clothing. The guys at our court don't know that my mother is an alcoholoc, they just assume that the mother is better off with the children than the father, although my father is a much better person to grow up with, not these crazy alcoholics who don't allow me to leave the house except for school. This is coming from a 13 year old stuck in the worst situation possible, and I hope the big guys will finally make things right in their corrupt court rooms.

It is nice to know that I am not the only one in the world with these issues. My daughters mother did not want her so I did what any good parent would do, I raised her myself! But at the time I did not understand a few laws such as filing for custody so after 10 years of raising her I get a letter in the mail that I was behind ( high 5 figure digits ) i had lost my religion! In short 3 years in the court system I lost all because I did not file for custody but I have proof that she lived with me. I lost my my home, car, and wife... and I am still paying child support.

The current system is unfair to the poor and to people who have hardships. What logical reason is there to take a person's driver's license or professional license and send the person to jail? How exactly does that help anyone? It wastes everyone's time and ties up the court systems. Children should spend time with both their parents and costs should be divided. Child support, as it is currently, is really and truly unjust. This is the opinion of a woman whose father was not involved and paid nothing. Obviously, his decisions were wrong, but the solution is garnishment, not jail. No one should be locked up for it. What horrible people have created these laws?

Then when you cannot afford to pay child support they throw you in jail? This is just wrong, you can only afford to pay what you have. For example I make 4,500.00 net monthly, child support laws say I must pay 29% for 3 children going off my gross salary also includes my wife's income????I am not living in the house anymore ???I need to also pay for my own shelter!!

How is it that the government expects you to pay the amount? When your spouses income is added to the total child support percentage? In reality you are not living together no more.Hello that means your also paying for your own shelter and living expenses????
