Student loan debt is slowing down the US economy and crippling our society. People who are trying to do better shouldn't be subjected to decades of debt peonage.REPORT COMMENTS

The entire notion that education loan borrowers are subject to a lower standard of legal protection than every other American citizen is absurd and hopefully unconstitutional very soon. EQUAL RIGHTS and LEFAL PROTECTIONS for higher education loan holders at once.REPORT COMMENTS

If you want to make America Great Again then please do the right thing for all of us that have ruined our lives by getting an education! I am 61 years old and have been in "school loan hell" for over 20 years. It must be changed for the future of our country.REPORT COMMENTS

No one could possibly dig out of this black hole of student debt when interest compounds daily at rates that the mob wouldn't even charge! This is a catastrophie! Businesses & Citizens can declare bankruptcy and have debt removed, but, lets fleece our children, cause they aren't as important. Where did our generation go so wrong???? I'm sad and disgusted at our leaders, please be the voice of reason, think long and hard about this student debt crisis. I'm not saying that the principal that the borrower took shouldn't be repaid, what I'm saying is that we the citizens of the USA are being fleeced!!!! PLEASE DO SOMETHING BEFORE A GIANT AX FALLS!REPORT COMMENTS

Until student loan consumer protection rights along with truth and lending laws that have been virtually stripped away from our great country's most vulnerable borrowers our children are reinstated there will be no real solutions to the now estimated $1.4 trillion student loan debt that is growing at a rate of close to $2800 A SECOND as reported by Market Watch!REPORT COMMENTS

Please help. Please. My school took my money and forced me to pay by credit card. I am on the hook for close to $30000. I am 51 and will probably get my next job at Jack in the box. I have no one else to help. Attorneys won't touch it. My congressman says I need to prove the debt and loss of money. Department of Ed. is all for profit contractors. No where to turn. Brokenhearted, broke and lost hope a LONG LONG time ago. I am not alone either.REPORT COMMENTS
