iwent thru hidalgo county archives and looked up my familias court records and they pulled a power of attorney on my great grand mother delfina washington hinojosa solis eayers in1907-08 well there names are on court records the land was partitoned in 700 acre sections,inso callwd tax auctions but whoses to know if this was legal, our folks were mexican american citizens since 1845 ,and whites called them ignorant mexicans ,but in reality were human beings .who had families ,children, and atTendED chuRch AND WERE GOOD CATHOLICS. we descendants wonder why this course of action was pulled on us hinojosas garcias solis ,why did you have to ethnic cleanse the rio grande valley of mexicans to bring northerners to buy our Land grants .well the texas republic decided that mexicans couldn,t own land in the texas republic meant for whites?does that include the white mexicans of the washington eayers family. grand son s of captain george washington eayers USS MECURY ,born in massachusetts in 1775 british america.the nueces strips didnt even belong to the united states, texas ,or mejico to bicker over. it was A spanish colony ,left behind to protect it self from both mejico,s military and american and texas rangers we couldn,t. we rancheros were to weak to hold on To our properties like our nativE american brothers YES I,M LIPAN APACHE ALSO. isnt our right to theses lands worth any thing? or we just are to forget, we once had a proud cuture and heritage and our familias legacy, is just that history ,destrOyed bY the so called texas rangers, WHCH IN ESSENCES WERE death squads, how would anglos like it if the shoe was on the other foot .you,d be seeking reparations right -
