It's time to abolish this H1b program that does nothing but create employment biases against Americans. There is need for Merit based system. Country cap is required for diversity. There should have been coutry cap on H1. Mass immigration from any country is not good. Currently Americans in IT are suffering due to mass immigration from India. They don't assimilate, speak in their local languages in offices, hire people from their own country. They are involved in so many visa fraud cases. They don't hire Americans so they can easily get away with their corrupt ideas, and back each other. They are not law abiding. They need to learn to assimilate with American society, and not bring corruption to this country. This happens when there is mass immigration of people from one country. They are using every loophole to take American's jobs. Americans are discriminated in their own country. Put a stop to this period. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

This bill should be taken up to streamline immigration process for legal immigrants. current process is very redundant and create very long waits.

This bill is a must! It's quite surprising to look at the backlogs.. Just 2800 approval per year where 15000 highly skilled applicants are applying every year.. it tests all human patience!

Even if a comprehensive immigration reform cannot be agreed upon, it is a good place to start with a reform that would help the legal immigrants, who have attended graduate schools, always followed the law, payed taxes, contributed to the economy, and have been renewing work authorizations every 2 years, drivers licenses every year, and have been denied promotions, better job opportunities, and many more things, just because their green card applications are on back log for more than 10 years which is extremely unfair. This Bill will be a great start in fixing the so-called broken immigration system!!!

legal immigrant should be given decent acceptable time frame for getting a Green card as they have been paying taxes .it will be unfortunate to make legal immigrants to think its much easier to get thing done being a illegal guy.
