There is a large group of molesters that are protected by large religious group that allow their policies to protect pedophiles under the first amendment. These people are still walking around and still have the freedom to harm young children and manipulate the minds of the weak. Please change these laws so that children do not have to grown up quicker then they should. Every child should be protected by these things and religious groups for those appointed to care for their followers should have to report known pedophiles within their organizations. There are so many victims that have had their whole lives taken away from them due to the misuse of amendments in the courts. Keep kids and people safe from these people with these illnesses. There should also be a mandatory limit of how many years can be used in a plea bargain. The way the system is now in order to get a conviction you have to agree to a lesser sentence. You agree to this so the already harmed child isn't subject to a trial. These children already suffer from ptsd who wouldn't try to protect them? They should not be allowed by law to bargain for less than 15 years. Do you gamble and they go free or do you bargain so they are punished? Hardest decision we will ever make.REPORT COMMENTS

Child molestors should be tried as murderers. We need to stop the supply and demand for child sex (discussing to even type) by making examples out of these people, those in supply and demand. And as embarrassing as it may be, we need to advertise help and support for those who have this illness to protect possible victims!!! There needs to be more talk on this subject, child abuse month should be like breast cancer awareness month.
