I love animals and they feel pain and emotion just like we do. I would like to help stop animal abuse, animal testing and puppy mills. I keep reading so many stories were the abuser just gets a slap on the wrist. Maybe if there were stricter punishments animal abuse will slowly come to an end. I would like to know how I can help to get each state to enforce jail time for all animal abusers. -

For quite a few people, their animals are their children. If you will not put up with child abuse, you should not put up with animal abuse! Just like children they cannot protect themselves. This isn't enough! Adults who have been convicted of animal cruelty should be jailed AND fined. It's not enough just to prohibit them from ever owning another animal, they could do it to strays. Who in congress can help make this a felony. Please help. The two men on Facebook shown to have cut off a dog's ears appear proud. The white woman who shot a white buffalo with an arrow should be convicted and fined. These people post on the internet as if this was a boast of their what, success?, prowess?
