This would give parity to federal employees, it would retain experience and skill to allow the guard to better respond to state emergencies.

Repealing this act would endanger many technicians jobs, going to title 5 would be a benefit the CIV workforce, securing the future of technicians everywhere. I myself am loosing my job due to being medically retired form the National Guard, I love what I do and don't think I will find a greater workplace then where I am today!

I hope this bill passes. As it stands right now on the National Guard mandatory retirement age is 60. When a dual status member reaches the age of 60 the dual status member loses his/her military membership followed by losing his full time job due to military retirement then has to fine other work which makes it hard to fine other work due to the member age. By going title 5 the dual status member retires from the National Guard with no impact to his full time job and current readiness level is maintain with no impact to the mission.

Please don't repeal Title 5 conversion. Also needs to include All Technicians, allowing them to continue to serve in there current job.

Don't repeal, in fact, it needs to expand to include all technicians.
